transmission change and shifter
I want to change my 3 on the tree to a 350 automatic. I have a 305 in the 6cyl. position. Which transmission do I need long or short tail shaft? I might use one of the mr gasket truck shifters. Have any of you used one? Let me know what you think of it.
Thanks |

Short tailshaft. That is what my 283 had mounted in the rear position. With my new engine and the 700r4 I think the drive shaft will be 1/8" too long. Not 100% sure since I swapped in a 79 front xmemeber
