I friggen hate flat tires!!!!!!!

The tire gods must be against me this weekend! On Friday, I roll into work with a flat right front tire on my 03' Silverado. OK, got it fixed. Tonight, mama and the kids and I go to Applebee's for dinner. Come out and what do ya know, now the LEFT rear is flat, I mean flat, like the rim is on the ground!!!! And to top it off, the spare that is now on the right front is low too!! 2 cans of Fix-A-Flat and $0.50 worth of air (a whole 'nother rant!! ) at the 7-11 and I'm on the road again.

I guess I need to head back to the tire store and drop some $$$ for new tires in the morning, eh?

OK, my rant is over now, I'll close the vent. Thanks for letting me get it all out!

I once got a 4 inch bolt stuck in my tire, so who knows what can happen.

Well, before I retired from the sheriff's office emergency services section, I used it as my emergency responce vehicle. Most of it's 33,000 miles were either on the interstate at 90-100 mph, hard starting, stopping, and swerving in town, dodging the idiots with the killer sound systems that couldn't hear the 200 watt siren or see the red and blue flashing lights, or taking the canyon corners hard and fast! They have been well used and abused, so I guess this is payback!

I wish! We were volunteers, and they allowed us to respond with our vehicles outfitted with emergency lighting and equipment after getting the proper permits from the state. The only thing they would reimburse us for was fuel, which was great considering some of our calls could rack up 100 to 150 miles round trip easily! But I would have rather run hard with lights and sirens to be able to get there in time to make a difference, rather than drive the speed limit and arrive too late

I used to never get the "Road Hazard" but after this last year with 3 newer tires at $160.00 a piece getting damage that was not repairable I think I will start. I also now carry a plug kit in both my vehicles.
