Not sure what they cost for the 67-72 trucks, but around here they run $400 to $600 for Snug Lid and Raider brands.

Nope, that is what they cost, period. I used to sell them, and they sell like hot cakes! How much are they in your neck of the woods? As far as I know, that is Snug Tops / Snug Lids normal pricing, haven't seen them any cheaper elsewhere.

This place is about the same what we sold for (price-wise) which was in line with everyone else in this area: http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/chevygmc5.html

I sent him a message also asking if the cover came with the handy 'truck attachment'. Waiting on a reply. He may just be wishing that someone will read it as $500 and bid on it.

Looks like a great deal on FREE shipping, as long as you are able to pick it up yourself. :p

He probably meant $50.00. I work in an accounting office and all our programs do not require you to enter the decimal point, it puts it in there automatically. I know I've almost done the same thing on ebay a few times. If you insert the decimal, 5000 becomes 50.00. Just my guess...

He sent me a reply that said he sold it locally, and jacked up the price to prevent people from bidding. Said he didn't know how to end the auction early????

1969 GMC - I'm curious, what does your local truck accessory store sell them for new?

I wouldn't have a clue, I have never went to look. I would guess around the price you stated. But when the auction says "used, surface is not perfect" I do not think it deserves to be sold for original retail price. If the guy was a dealer of truck covers and sold them brand new in perfect shape for list, more power to him. But he is just a guy, selling a used cover. That is why I think he is on crack.

If you think that's bad, check the price these manifolds sold for. WTF is so special about these anyway??? I know they have the AIR holes but that's freakin crazy. I have low drop ones just like these on my truck(the cut motor mount brackets prove it) but they don't have the AIR holes in 'em.
