sorry bud, you're wrong. I watched it launch at norwalk, it really launches like that, with no hydros. You really think there would be someone dumb enough to race a car on 3 wheels if it runs 10's? Think about it.
BTW, I've never seen anything other than oldsmobiles that are able to flex the chassis that much. The owner said he'd probably get it worked out for this race season.

uh, no. i can admit when other brands have a good product. crown vics, if they werent so ugly, are awesome. the marauder is a good looking crown vic, i saw an all black one with 17's (maybe the stock wheels?) and it was sweeeeeet. what does chevy make that looks as good as the ford 500 that has 4 doors and a v8? that malibu wagon thing is cool, but still. go drive a new chevy impala, then a grand marquis or vic, i dont think you can even compare the two.

the stock wheels on those marauders are 17 or 18 (can't remember which) 5 spoke wheels. They've also got chrome tipped exhausts. IMO, those things are like james bond, a whole bunch of whoopass wearing a 3 piece suit and bowtie to the party.

I hate to say this (especially on a Chevy site), but I think I like the body style of those marauders and g/m's more than I like the last generation Impalas. There's a reason people refer to them as the Orca body style...Don't get me wrong, they're really nice, but the style seems to be more fitting for me from a marauder.

shortymac83, Any GM A body or G body with factory rear coil springs will lift like that with the stock suspension set-up. I have friend that has a BB '70 Chevelle and it does the same thing. Its just the geometry of the set-up.

Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my face from the 61 Impala 409 (or possibly 348) in #52. That's one of my all time dream cars.

the reason that you cant comapare a new impala to a crown vic is because they are no longer in the same class. GM made a huge mistake when they turned the impala into a transvese v6 front driver. i have one and i hate it. the only positive thing i can say about it is that i am going to trade it in so my wife can get a 4x4.

My favorite Chevy's are the 60-62' Impala's with the bubbletop! Those are sweet as hell when set up right! And that's coming from a guy who's owned 3 Camaro's and 4 Nova's! I would love to get my hands on a 60' Impala hardtop...

Here's a pic of my 66 GTO that I bought from my uncle this last November. I need to get a new paint job on her, but she still gets looks every time I take her cruising
