You can't polish a turd, but...

You can spray paint primer it!!!

Well, after a little over a month of scraping, sanding, pounding, bondoing and primering... the beast is out of the garage. I eliminated all of the surface rust and some of the bad rust, but I didn't get to do anything with the cab corners, rockers, or fender bottoms- just knocked out some bad stuff and sealed 'em back up until someone else can fix 'em right. I had to cut my project short because I found out last week that I'm moving to South Dakota in a couple weeks, and with my 2nd baby due next week - there's no time left for the '67. So the ad went in the local paper today, hopefully somebody will give it a good home. The wife says she'll cut some more funds loose once we get moved so that I can find a 4x4. I appreciate everybody's help these last few weeks and I'll still be lurking around the site, until I get another project. Later...

Cyco Path - I've got it advertised for $700, which is $100 in the hole. I'll sell it to anybody on this board for $550, at least I'll know it's going to a good home.

I appreciate the offer. If the distance wasn't so far I would definitely take you up on that.

This is killin' me! If I hadn't just spent $525 on the front drivetrain on the '92, I'd see you this weekend when we move my sister-in-law to Tulsa. Argh!

What's the option list on your longstep?
