Weekend Progress

Yesterday I got the window frame on the truck sanded and painted with some rust encapsulator and then Johnny05 stopped by to help me on my timing which I found out I had 2 wires out of order and the timing was WAYY off but it now runs it sounded so good to hear it after not running for 3 months! But now I have an issue I used a painless kit to wire the truck and it starts fine but now it won't shut off when I turn the key into the off position. Any idea why?
