Bed liner material in cab

Would it be a good or bad idea to roll on some of that bed liner material on the floor of my truck? I want to insulate it a little and cover it but can't afford insulation and carpet now. My dad said moisture might get in it and rust it but how would that happen inside and not the bed. What do you guys think? I like the idea of not having to worry about staining the carpet or anything like that.

Re: Bed liner material in cab

My brother had a lifted 94 chevy and it ahd that in there. Like the rhino lining? Thats what he had. Agreed with above me though, its definetly not a sound deadener or insulation but i think its great. If you have the look of the truck to go with. Wouldnt do it on a show truck, but thats just me
