On the 73-87's what years did not have rear side marker lights on the fenders?

I know for sure form '85 on but i think they go back a few years from '85 but i just dont know how far.

79-up did not have sidemarkers I do believe. 73-76 had those little round taillights, 77-78 has plain trailor lights with the markers in the fenders. They moved the sidemarker on to the taillight for 79-up.

on your trucks the gas filler is on the right side and has a square lid that raises up and then the cap?

Where I'm going is,,,, a right rear w/ no marker and the round gas cap, not the lid type. But I dont think any came that way...

Mine indeed has a passenger-side gastank with a flip lid. THAT started around 78. I don't think you're going to find a rightside with no marker and a round gap right on the fender.

hello,,my 76 k-10,shortbed ,stepside has no marker light's and a DRIVER side flip door,,however the only replacement fenders i have found so far have the round cap on PASSENGER side fender.

That can't be original. The flip doors didn't start until 79 and the rear fenders had the sidemarkers in them through 78. In 79 GM switched to the trailer lights with built-in sidemarkers. Therefore a truck from 78 and earlier will have the round cap directly on the fender as well as sidemarkers built into the side of the fender.

The side the gas tank is on (as far as I have gathered) is pretty random. I have seen single tanks on either sides. However, there may be a better rhyme/reason to the placement of them.

cliffsta your comments are what I have found out. There is a camaro retail shop across town that sells Goodmark sheetmetal I'll see what they say and order what ever is close to what I want. Either case I will have to change the filler lid or fill in the marker light. Thks fellows.

If you are looking for a round filler [b]without[b/] a marker light, you will have to make it that way as you have found. GM stopped the marker lights the same time they switched to doors. 1979 officially for Stepsides

I also sell Goodmark pieces, and this is also how theirs come.
