How much for the electronic speedometer? Don't need the rest of the cluster, just the speedo gauge...

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

Blazer goes into the shop this weekend for final dismantling.

From there I will do a more thorough inspection of all the underneath/hidden parts that have been requested and post up what's usable and what's not.

Front clip will be off so I can check out the rad support and assoc. parts.

Dash is apart, bezel is good, pad is good, gauges look intact.
Lund visor is in great condition w/all the lights/wiring still intact.

No radio harness. (typical after market hack job)

Tilt works but is pretty loose, has cruise control though.

Tail gate window motor/switch works but the track is off somehow.

Parts I'll be keeping:
Motor and all associated TBI parts, including gas tank.
Keeping the drive train intact for now. (tranny/t-case/rolling chassis)
Steering wheel stays

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

Hey vt, I found a front grille assembly from a burb in Nebraska on ebay and picked it up. I got it for $140 in about the same condition as yours and then it is gonna cost about $120 shipping the entire setup via UPS oversize. (In case anyone wanted to know what shipping might cost).

It would have been a huge hassle for you anyways.

Even so, I agreed to do it and now I've lost the sale.

The whole reason for the original "checking interest" post was to decide if I wanted to invest in this parts blazer and knowing the front assembly would be sold when I got it, helped alot with that decision.

We can either freight it or do it via greyhound, but I am VERY interested if it is in decent shape.

Finding out you bought the parts off e-bay was a surprise seeing you did offer to buy from me.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

Hey Kurt, sorry about the recent dealings, on a side note those wheels are
somewhat desireable, you might wanna put them on Evil Bay to recoup $

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

Are prices going to be provided sometime soon here...or are we all waiting for the other thread? Quite a few people, including myself, have shown interest in some parts and asked for prices..but nothing has been posted and replies haven't been answered...at least in this thread.

Yes, more of a "what are you looking for" thread than a for sale thread.

Time to do the 'for sale' post I guess.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

I do apologize; I honestly wasn't aware that your decision to purchase was based on the interest of others, i.e. me.

It is a very desirable front conversion and shouldn't be difficult to move. I will tell you what though. If you can't move it, I will stand by my word and still buy the setup and move it locally. I was ALWAYS competing with others locally to get that front conversion and I always lost. I just jumped the gun when I saw the setup on ebay and got ahead of myself.

I have complete faith that I can move the setup here and break even even after shipping. If you sell locally, you should be able to get $100 more for it since the buyer won't have to make shipping considerations.

Get it apart, and if it doesn't move locally, I will still buy it.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

FYI, the setup will be worth more if you sell it with the fenders and hood if they are in decent shape; The grille setup is good for the 80-88 guys, but the entire front clip is good for the 73-79 guys to get the full update conversion.

The money is gonna be in selling the entire front clip, fender to fender and selling it as a '73-79 Chevy truck 89-91 blazer conversion'. VERY popular and sought after setup.

Re: Checking Interest 90 Blazer

red, appreciate the good input and offer.
First rate response, that's what makes this board what it is.

I'm in the process of doing a for sale thread, I bet it will sell there.
