Question question between '58 and '59

i know this is such a newbie question, but how can one tell the difference between a '58 and a '59 chevy truck. i was under the assumption that the '59 was the only year that had the side by side head lights, however, i am now thinking that was wrong. can someone help clear the air for me?

Re: question between '58 and '59

58 and 59 both have 4 headlights.

I have yet to find a way to know the difference between a 58 and 59 GMC without using the serial number.

In a Chevrolet the front fender side emblem is different.

This is a 58 fender emblem with the point sticking up part way.

And this show's a 59, more like a bullet.
