I would like to go with a late 60's drag car haulin truck paint theme! For me all white with some plain jane Iddian heads on the side in red! Maybe Pontiac lettering here and there! Thats nostalgic!

My truck is a 72 ochre/white and I have had quite a few people tell me it has an "antique" look because of the color, and other similar things.

yea, tell those kids to watch out around that truck, don't want a big dent in the hood from a basketball. J/K. I believe Ochre looks nice on these old trucks and dark green. just my 0.02

I looked on both paint charts, and BLACK is not shown. Big Whoop! Like you have to see it to know it's black.

I have agonized about what color to paint my truck. I don't care about going retro, nor do I plan to restore it. So, the fact that it was black when new is of little concern to me. I had a black '69 already, and that sucker got HOT in the summer. So, I'm thinking of a different color and the one that yanks my chain the most in the past is the Milennium Yellow on the 'vettes that I see of late, like '99 and up. I know it has a little bit of sparkle in it. But, the overall appearance of one of these trucks in brilliant, glowing golden yellow, not just the ochre shade, really gets my attention. Besides, people into home decorating, landscaping, etc., will tell you that yellow will get people's attention more quickly than any other color. So, since I want people to see me when I drive, I'm going this route.
