Powdercoating

I think I've had enough sandblasting.. I've got it in my ears, my pockets and everywhere else! I've decided to have a pro do the job for me.. What should I expect to have a rolling frame (swb with coils) blasted and powdercoated? I've finished sandblasting most of the frame. It's fairly rust free, but the litttle spots are driving me mad. How long does it usually take to get it back?

Powdercoating

I paid $210 for the blasting and $450 for the powdercoating. I paid an additional $50 for the Belltech drop spindles. I had the frame and all the suspension parts like the trailing arms, upper and lower a-arms, crossmembers, etc.
This was done in Gastiona, NC. I not how close that is to Goose Creek. I know of a Goose Creek airport, not sure if this is the same area.

I had two different places quote me $210 for my frame and suspension parts. Didn't get a quote on powdercoating since I can't find anyone locally that has an oven big enought for a truck frame. But I haven't been looking very hard either.

I had mine done in Atlanta for $500.00. This was the frame, crossmembers, trailing arms and upper/lower control arms.

$750 is the going rate for blasting and coating in Louisiana, You may save a little, if they can see how much blasting you have already done.

Wink

The more color's you have in powdercoating the more cost. I had 3 different color's with PROJECT ORANGE the springs are orange and the spindels are silver, all Ubolts are silver also. Ever time they change pigment it cost so ask for a detailed quote up front before leaving your stuff. I paid 550.00 to get everthing powdercoated and 200 for sandblasting even sandblasted afew things myself, if you need some powdercoating done let me know the company is in RockHill S.C. ,hope this helps!
