Ok guys, I have a lot of problems with my truck now all coming from when I decided to cut my fram in half. I should have done a little more research before I did that. Nothing seems to want to work for me. Somewhere during the cutting something got off and now the fenders, core support and such do not line up with the cab. Looks like I did not lower the front frame horns enough to make it all happen. I also have some major cutting to do on the inner fenders and a little to trim on the core support to clear the steering box. Here are some pictures of the bad dicision.

sorry to see the issues

one easy way to help you out would be to alter the cab mounts to raise it slightly which will help some without having to do so much extra work or change much of whats already been done. It could be as easy as adding shims between the cab mounts and cab to raise the cab up a tad so that the fenders line up better. And/Or use shorter rad support bushings to lower the rad support. I see many easy ways to get your issues taken care of without having to start all over again.

Where in Arkansas are you located?

Yeah, I have an idea of how to fix it after playing with it all day, I actually took the core support supports out and it all lines up perfect so it looks like I will be adding some shims to the front cab supports. I just hope this will not throw the lines off where it matches up to the bed.... That would suck

well with whats happened your just going to have to shim quite a bit now no matter how much you dont want to.Please just make your bed to cab gap look decent......I hate seeing these bagged guys trucks with either tight gaps up high on the cab to bed and way excessive gaps down low on the cab to bed,or vice versa.

sounds like you have a game plan

I had the same problem when I pulled the Cab and clip off to replace cab mounts, I also painted the frame. Would not line up very good at all. Ended up shiming the cab mounts and using a ratchet strap to pull rad support over to line up right. You just have to work with it a bit.

Not to change the subject or add to your problems…..but mounting those fans to your radiator will give you problems later. It would be best to make a separate bracket to hang the fans on.
