Cool Reumster for your EYES only

Reumster,

Here is a picture of the 71 with 17" stealths on it. I bought my wheels in NC in Mt. Holley at a place called Wheel Country . I bought them used, but he gave me a 1 year warranty with them because the guy that bought them new didn't keep them but for like 6mn.

I have had a few people at work ask me about them also and even one guy drove up there to talk with him about a set, and a new set is like $1400.00 just for the wheels. I didn't give but $1000.00 for wheels and tires. The tires were new goodyears.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

What's with the 5.0 badge?

Surely you didn't ruin the heart and soul of that beautiful ride by pony powerin' it?

Cool Smulater's / Heartbeat

Yes that is what they are. AND NO I didn't change the heartbeat. I just used the best part of a pony that I could and that was the emblem. The motor is a HO-305 TPI, in other words a 5.0

Ahh, it was just a joke, but I'm still glad to hear it. Upon re-reading, it does sound like I was criticizing. Wasn't my intention, just making conversation out of curiousity. Sorry if I offended.

Cool NO Problem

No I didn't take offense to it, I here it at work all the time because I'm such a Chevorlet fan and have mustange emblems on my truck. Have you ever seen the 5.0 stickers that chevy sell. They are about the ugliest things I have ever seen.
You can see part of it in this picture it was no way what I thought it would be at the time I ordered it. On top of that two of them cost me $12.00 and the two 5.0 cost me $8.00

Cool Tail Lights

I sure would!!!! I would love to have a set, I just can't afford them right now. I did mine a little different, I installed a red lens underneath the clear lens so it would have a red look to it. I still use the regular bulb though. Here is a picture of it.

It works pretty good and I have had them on for almost a year now and have had the law right behind me and not even a funny look.

A little costructive critizum(sp) never hurt. I agree a painted flush tonnue would help greatly. But I'm sure he uses it for work. Also I think a regular rear bumper would be a nicer touch too. Hidden hitch time Andy!

Cool Truck Cover

I would like to have a flush bed cover except for one thing! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I would also have to redo my gas tank, because it's up inside the bed and the filler neck is right in the drivers side conner of it. Thats why I bought the cover like this is it only opens on the back half. Yes I do agree it would look a whole lot better, but the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is the biggest thing.

I'm game to change it if someone wants to donate some $$$$$$$$$$$ or the cover. HAHAHA!!!!

Forgot about the bumper thing. I like the step bumper for the only reason that I can get upinside of the bed when the trash bages roll up front by the tank. I know a regular bumper would look a lot better but!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ That money issue just keeps coming back up, you know!

Cool 17" Wheels

I looked at a bunch of wheels and different sizes before I bought these, I was in the right place at the right time. I drive this truck everyday to work and I travel a lot in my work 2-4 hrs. each way depending on where I have to go. The bigger wheels I have been told are worse in ride, so when I found these I went for them and haven't regraded it.

Thanks for the nice words about them. I think it really makes a big diference in it's over all look. When I had them put on I stood their I know 20 minutes looking at the first one think on if I really like the look, and the installer didn't mind abit. He even went inside and help another customer until I was satisfied.
