Wet floorboard passenger side 03 Tahoe

Help, the floor board on the passenger side is completely soaked, this is Phoenix no snow, and it hasen't rained in a couple of weeks. Is this the heater core leaking? If it is then why doesn't it smell like coolant? Also does any one have the rpocess for removing the heater core?

Thanks

You say it has no smell. Have you been using the A/C any? It could be your A/C evaporator drain stopped up and running out in the floor.

Stopped using the ac in October, also the coolant is redish in color, and I have a light grey carpet and its not stained. Where is the ac drain located?
Also I checked autozones site to replace the heater core, their comments include removing the steering wheel and column - that would really suck if I had to do that.

Thanks for your comments.

Re: Wet floorboard passenger side 03 Tahoe

The drain should be on the passenger side, underhood, near the bottom of the firewall. Debri (leaves) falls into the fresh air duct on the cowl panel and clog the drain. You can normally get the debri out by blowing it out with compressed air. If the heater core is leaking you will normally have a sweet smell in the cab.
