think there was one one here that done that tailgate mod on a older truck he allso used a set of extra stepside fenders as the inner fenders/tubs think it was a 56/57 apache truck because the fenders where more slanted .
you might want to raise those fenders to be level with the sidewindows and allmost loose the edge of the bed alltogether and just sheetmetal the space across the fenders in at the back to make the mod look right

i got a job again and having fun at it too idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts Last edited by watahyahknow; 05-24-2009 at 03:35 PM. |
