Jared, check with Fine69. IIRC Mike has an HHR and might be able to provide you with a good review.

Re: Any HHR owners?

I have a few customers with them. I can't wait for the test drive to be over with every time I get in one. IMO they are a poor attempt at copying the PT Cruiser.

Re: Any HHR owners?

i have an 08 SS 2liter turbo with computer upgrade and magnaflo exhaust and fresh air intake it's right at about or a little over 300hp it's quick responsive and alot of fun to drive around town i get around 21mpg around town stoplight to stoplight on the highway at 80-90 i get right at 26mpg it is a little bit skitish at 100-120range so both hands on the wheel
things i dont like is poor interior lighting especially in the front not much space for drink holders and theres this REAL REAL annoying green ambiant light thing at night on the roof near the mirror

the power windows and door controls aren't very convienant is the standard models but on the SS they're located properly on the doors which was the main reason plus the seat why i went with the SS// the other main factor for my decesion was the small size for ease of parking in tight spaces at the many doctors offices i go to
i've had it 15months 14000miles generally happy and love the reaction for the obnoxious blowmaster noise machines will keep a few more years till i'm generally bored and trade for something else zippy if they have anything then

i'm looking at next spring for a bigger intercooler injectors popoff valve and throttle body work for another 50=70hp boost as well as maybe suspension and lowering upgrades

Re: Any HHR owners?

According to the info light I get 23 mpg. That's about the only good thing I can say about the HHR.HHR's suck,do yourself a favor and buy something else, unless you,you like driving a car with rock hard seats, lot's of blind spots, and horrible performance.

Re: Any HHR owners?

I don't own one personally, but I have 4 08 panels at work. The only thing that I really don't like are the blind spots. All of these cars run an average of 8000 miles a month in city and through the mountains. They have been in service just over a year. All that have been done to them are PM's, and I just put the first new set of tires on at 75,000 miles. One car had the steering column start rattling at 30,000 it was replaced under warranty. The seats and power aren't the best, but it is an inexpensive compact car. I think both are very good for what it is. They all get 22-23 mpg according to GPS. I would buy one.
