'73-newer blazer top price?

I was wondering what would be a good price for a blazer top. the top is in really good condition, it is a full top, like the '72's top. Or would anyone here be interested? Let me know Landon

Landon, I have seen full tops run from $150. to $350 depending on condition. When you say 'real good condition' one of the things I've looked for is the condition of the texture coat on the inside and outside of the part. I've found this is extremely hard to replicate in trying to restore.

I have been looking for a top in 'excellent' condition, because mine was previously sanded smooth and painted. However, California is probably too far to consider for this one.

Still interested in more detail on the condition though.

Hope this helps, Greg.

That top fits 73-75.
There are two versions, Butted seam and overlap seam. Look at the seams where the top meets the side wall. Around the rear window pening you can tell what you have. the Overlap will do just that and over lap the sidewall about 1/2 inch. The butted seem looks a little better but they were propne to coming apart at the seams so less desirable for a 4x4.

Another thing that helps or hurts the price is the condition of the seals around the door windows. Those two seals and their fill peices cost about $250 ( for both sides together) to replace. Then the rails seals while not real expensive they are easily damaged when the top is off the truck.

Grim Reaper, that is great information. Since you are very knowledgable on these tops, maybe you can help me. Do you know what product can be used to replicate the texture coated finish on these tops? Bedliner, trunk spatter and rocker panel coatings just don't quite get there as far as an original look.
Thanks, Greg.
