Re: 22's all away around

yes it can be done. my truck will lay 22's. but I wont run them because they are just to damn big in the front. Too tall, to where the radius of the wheel is much larger than the radius of the front fender so that you'd have to lift the fender about 3-4 inches over the wheel to have proper clearance. My 20x8's with a 255/35 tire is what I'd basically consider the limit. You could also fit a 245/40 or maybe a little bigger, but I wouldnt. Its just be a pain to drive.

Re: 22's all away around

ya I ran a 20x8.5 on the front with a 255/35/20 tire and seems to steer pretty good. When I had the stock brakes and Control arms on mine you had alot more turn at very low ride height due to the wheels being in a little more. Im hoping to have mine painted and in final assembly in the next couple weeks so I can shoot you some pics if you want.

Re: 22's all away around

Oh forgot to add, as far as the rears go, the 22 will fit but I also added a narrowed 9 inch ford to get the wider wheel and the 305 tire on it. I also have a 40 series tire on the rear. Seems like I tried a buddies 265/35/22 on a 22x10 on mine when I had the stock rear in it and it fit, Was a little tight real low but It went I think.

Re: 22's all away around

I have been trying to post some but it keeps saying I have to get a Admin to let me or something. Not sure what deal is. Its getting farther along little by little. Been block sanding in the evenings and the weekends and it takes forever!
