Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
oh im thinking of putting my step side bed back on. But the only problem i have is i dont like the way the step lines up with the cab, did you guys put new cab mounts on this truck? I was thinking with new cab mounts it might line up better, i already have mine on just wondering if the ones i see dont have new ones.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
That's a sweet looking stepper Cherub! I like the interior. Was the dash panel covered in leather? ced935, the 3/5 drop looks great! Nice ride.

What size are your tires 1972SuperCheyenne? Any rubbing problems with your setup. Are you happy with the tire size you picked?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
255/40r20 in the front, 295/40r20 inthe rear. Only rubbed in a large dip in the road. In the last pic it has the LS 6.0 installed and it is about 1 or 1 1/2 inches higher so it def. wont rub now. Need to cut a coil out and see what happens.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I agree that it's a backspace problem, height shouldn't have anything to do with that. lots of bagged trucks on 24's that lay frame and don't have clearance issues with the frame so having 22's shouldn't matter. get some cheap wheel spacers from Napa or something, prolly less than $20 and will prolly fix your rub.
