A Little spring whacking music. please!

Hello all,
Newbie here with recently acquired '70 C-10 stepside. It's too tall! . Can the "ghost of the mad spring-whacker" take one full coil off the bottom of the stock front coil spring? That should be good for a couple of inches, right?
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Toby

Hi Toby, welcome to the board. Yes I think 1 coil is 2 to 2 1/2".

Re: A Little spring whacking music. please!

The "whacker" reference was homage to a late fellow member on CHEVYTALK.COM. One of the early contributors there was a gentlemen named Mike McVeigh, known on CT as "the mad spring-whacker'. Mike was a big time advocate of "coil-cutting"
