Re: 1996 s10 headers

the v8 conversion headers will fit both body styles. But for headers you will need to stick with ones made specifically for a V8 swap. Hedman, sanderson, and patriot make a set that are pretty much the same design and work great. Hedman also makes 2 long tube types for a gen 1 style small block. One set stays inside the frame, and requires the use of a certain type of motor mount (its a plate that uses a stock v8 clamshell) and then a type that wraps two tubes around the frame and i believe (not 100% positive but the manufactuer will be able to tell you what mounts work)will work with both types of conversion motor mounts. All the shorty headers work great with the 2.8 style frame mounts like the ones JTR sells. LEt me know if you need any other info
