pretty cool years back one of my "dream " vehicles was a 89 sub with a full removable top like the 73-74 blazer.

I was thinking the same thing.But man I wouldn't even know where to start on that.What do you do for the B-pillar?I would guess you would need to brace the body some how to keep it rigid.Maybe cage it.

You know, International Harvester made their Terra's and Traveler's with full removable hard tops. They were 118" wheel base SUV's basically. But I bet you could use the same idea there.

Same basic principle as the Scout's. Everything from the windshield frame was removable, and you could swap the "full" tops with the "truck" tops. This particular one is a Scout, but Travelers were the same thing only with a longer wheel base.
