Re: pine pitch

I've used this stuff:

http://www.goofoffstainremover.com/

But it is really strong, so you have to watch carefully what you are doing.

I've also just used Gum-Out carb cleaner, and a rag dipped in camp fuel.
All depends on where you are applying the cleaner, and what the junk is stuck to.

I'll be darned, that's a new one on me. I'll try it next time.

I have used both kerosene and WD-40 (separately) with some success.

Re: pine pitch

I would suspect pitch is pitch? As I just picked up a couple loads of Fir.
Fresh cut and man never have I seen so much sap. like it was dipped in honey.
Now my bed is slimed!

Re: pine pitch

Tried WD40, hand sanitizer nothing worked very well.
Helped lift the heavy parts but its stained pretty ugly.
Maybe I'll haul a few loads of gravel and grind it off my LineX?

Any Line X installers on the board?

Re: pine pitch

I used a razor blad to get the goo off then let it harden and the rest came off with wd-40. I wonder if Freeze-Off would do it?
