I've owned both a '55 (now) and a '57 before (10 years ago). Essentially, there is NO difference other than the grille and hood on the '57.

For myself it would be a '55 because my Dad bought a new 1955 Chevy two door hardtop Belair that I inherited from him when I turned 17 and I was GALACTICALLY STUPID enough to prefer a van - DOH! He also had a '59 Fleetside so I wanted a combo of both...hence a '55 Task Force. Besides I like the egg crate grill, though I would have zero problem owning a '57 again.

In the true "same condition" you will pay more for a big window than a small window. Probably also true of a '57 over a '55/'56, but you'll find out
