I decided to fab up a brake cable today with original cable and a sleeve that I had laying around from my Model A Ford that I sold. I also had to fab brakets to mount the 56 Chevy handle. I cut the handle down and welded back up because I did not like the lenght of original and the way it sticks down in the Cab. Here are some pics.

Nice work. That steering wheel looks right at home in your truck. Wish I had the $$$ to buy one of those "shrunken" wheels for my truck but priorities are elsewhere for now.
I did something similar to your emergency brake setup using cables from Control Cables. I used part of the original rod and brought the cable up through the original hole. I made the cable holder out of a piece of pipe cut at an angle. It works good.

No problemo that is why I try and post info so that we dont have shell out Mega Bucks for something that we can do ourselves!!
