Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone

Thanls guys!!! I took the driveshaft out of the car and brought it in to see if it was bent, WOW> middle was out by 1/8" and bent in three directions. No wonder there was a wobble. Well they had to make a new one for it, so hopefully the car does not vibrate now!!! We will find out soon.

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone

Hey guys, I have not died or anything like that. I have been super busy with the family and other projects since this has been completed. I am sorry that I never came back on here to finish this up. I will do a write up hopefully this weekend on the finale and in the mean time here is a few pics.

Re: 1969 Camaro "Yenko" Clone

Man it looks good. I wish we had seen this post earlier. We know a lot of stuff about Yenkos but not as much as the famous guy in the next town by mine, League City Texas. He worked building the original Yenkos and raced for them.Wrote most of the books about them to. He is retired now but is involved in City government. Quite an amazing fella. We are helping to rebuild one now that was "restored????" this is what it looked like a couple of months before the restoration. looled good but was a amatuer job
