Replacing body mounts

I was installing new body mounts today and have a couple big washers that I was wondering if they go between the bushing and body on the rear. It was a counterparts replaceable body mouunt kit. Maybe someone else as used one. On the rear I have a nut, washer, cone bushing, then frame then upper bushing then body. I have the bolt with sleeve going through it. I was thinking the other washer I have goes between the body mount and body.

anyone know?

The fronts seem to be together correct. There was a square piece of metal between the bushing and the body that I left in there for the new mounts.

Re: Replacing body mounts

It helps a bit, but I am wondering with the aftermarket ones I bought if they are going to be installed the same way roughly....

Re: Replacing body mounts

When I tore apart my '68, both the front and rear cab bushings had washer top and bottom, so to answer your question, yes mine had a washer between the cab and the top bushing.

Re: Replacing body mounts

Thanks for the diagrams to properly replace the bushings. My problem is getting the nuts off the body bolts. I finally got the nut off the front mount after taking out the radiator. How do I gain access to the top of the bolt on the driver side middle mount since it simply spins with the nut? Got any tips to make this task any easier?
