Where did you find that dealership photo? That's Atherton GMC in Burbank, California, the dealership where my '67 was originally sold. I have the original bill of sale, and my truck was purchased with a large camper on it. That was pretty common back in the day, truck dealerships would partner up with RV dealers and sell pickup/camper combos.

Anyway, Burbank does indeed look a little different, but that dealership building still stands. It's been an equipment rental yard for years.

Nice Stepside, BTW!

That old GMC dealership looks a lot different today. No longer a GMC dealership, a boat sales yard. Just Google map Victory Blvd and Linden Ave. Burbank California.

No joke, it is a boat yard now! I have not been over there in a while. The address is 1220 S. Victory. Before Atherton sold GMC's, they were a Studebaker dealer.
