Re: 2007 GMC Sierra Classic strip down
Well adding the 4L60E transmission to the list for sale. I went to go put it in my 2008 and it is different. Apparently they changed a few things from the classic in 07' to the new style 07' and up. Rather than try to disassemble and swap parts I purchased a new one. $1600.00 plus core. OUCH!! This classic 07' transmission has 29k miles on it. Considering the price of the new one for the 08' I am going to put a $1k price tag on it but would be open to reasonable offers. I am sure it is not a popular selling item but just wanted to put it out there in case there is a need.

Re: 2007 GMC Sierra Classic strip down
When you say "hidden hitch" what is hidden about it? Does it exit behind the tag? Or below the bumper like a factory receiver hitch?
Interested pending your answers. |

Re: 2007 GMC Sierra Classic strip down
It exits below the bumper not behind the tag. Name brand is hidden hitch. A lot of the older hitches you could see all of the hitch. WIth this one all you see is the receiver portion. I can take better pictures and post this afternoon.

Re: 2007 GMC Sierra Classic strip down
Are you still interested in the grill as well? If so I will get a box size together that would have to ship truck freight, but Duane @ heavy metal Chevy has been quoting some pretty awsume prices. Take a look over the list in the beginning and make sure there are no other small parts you might need. If we are gonna truck ship we might as well fill up with a good package price. You need this stuff a whole lot worse than I do LOL
Richard

Re: 2007 GMC Sierra Classic strip down
Its no problem. just waiting on quote back from Duane for the hood crate shipping. made it big enough to fit the hood, grill and all the small parts but small enough I think it may be feasible for you if it compares with some other quotes he has given me.
Richard
