Re: Project: "Full Metal Yellow Jacket" Build Thread

Hey guys, you don't have to have a fast truck, just a fast SOUNDING truck. My truck has a 400 hp 383 in it and it'll pin you to the seat but I wouldn't consider it a really fast truck. It has a nice lopey idle and 2 4" round Magnaflow mufflers that are pretty much only technically "mufflers" so it sounds fast. I thought for sure every punk kid in a Mustang or import racer wannabe would be challenging me at the lights but so for its only been 1 kid in his mom's 4 door and I think that was just so he could hear how it sounded when I step on it.

At least you're not rushing the truck and just throwing it together only to be disappointed with it later.
