Hi I am a new member here and just wanted to drop in and post some photos of my 71 c10.
The truck itself is a '71 c10 Cheyenne Super all original.When I bought it the owner said the motor and transmission was rebuilt with 10,000 on it and the body was done about 10 years ago. Under the stock hub caps it has 8.5" rally wheels (I like the sleeper look) The front was dropped 2.0 and the rear 3.0.The interior is stock other than the column mounted tach.The exhaust consist of headers 2.5 pipes and glass packs. I am in the process of dropping in a 454 but not quite sure on which mounts to use. I have searched the tech section and previous post on this but still unsure.I have a set of clam shell mounts from an 86 1 ton 4x4 along with the frame mounts and the perches that sat on them. Thank you I appreciate that. I have owned this truck for over a year now and just starting to change it a little. This is my third 67-72 truck that Ive owned.

Thanks well see about that. The engine is nothing special .040 454 scat crank 2 bolt mains balanced and blue printed by me. The heads are aluminium oval ports totally done by a local head shop to insure the geometry is correct and good parts were installed in them.full roller valve train with a mild street cam. The same motor was dynoed at 479.3 hp@ 5500and 526.1ft/lbs@2600.I was afraid it may not be enough so going with a small 150hp boost. should make for some intesting fun. Here is my last project.
 I dont really anticipate to have this kind of traction though

Thanks guys. To reply to low elco, the truck came from Arkansas.....couldnt find anything in Maine that even resembled a truck up here. With all the salt they use during the winter months they generally would all be roted to bad. It was still cheaper to buy it and have it shipped than to try and restore some old hulk from here.
