4.3l to 454BB swap..

Ok, I'm working on a 454 to set in my '93 C1500 that has a 4.3L V6 in it. I'd like to know if the front end will hold this beast or do I need to make some changes. Can anyone help?

Re: 4.3l to 454BB swap..

I just completed a 4.3L to 7.4L swap a few months ago in a '93 Sportside and didn’t bother replacing the front coil springs. Actually, like the lower stance it has now and it still rides and handles well. Engine swap thread here

GM is the leader in powertrain technology, why are they putting great powertrains in terrible wrappers?
