Re: Green Machine

Work on the machine today. Put mud in more dents I found, put running board sides as mud flaps on, and almost completed the cab panel.

Re: Green Machine

Found a guy over here in Summerville that does BC/CC paint jobs + all the buffing and sanding for cheap so once I finish I'm taking the machine to him He has 30 yrs experience and he works @ Boeing as a paint inspector. I think he'll do good.

Re: Green Machine

Got more work done on the truck today didn't get to sand it though because the rain came early and also had to charge my battery again which only reminded me of my starting issues. also need a new door handle. Hope to be finished with the body work soon so I can get it painted. I miss driving it haha

Re: Green Machine

Quick quetsion to get brake dust off these rims I've heard of people using paint stripper then re-clearing them is that the best way because the rims are dirty besides brake dust they are just aged.

Re: Green Machine

Sad day today put a scratch in my moms 5 week old car on the bumper trying to put my guitar amp in. So I may have to sell me truck to repair it because she is not very happy, and they don't like the truck anyways so I'm looking at various other 88-98 GMC/Chevrolets for after all this. Or a 73 el camino or 64 c10 stepside if the guy sells it to me.

Re: Green Machine

Found a pic of it before it was wrecked. In this one it was carrying 3/4 tons of compost. And its only a half ton truck with a six. I will try to find more pics from before it was wrecked.

Re: Green Machine

Actually yes a good bit. I plan to do some work this weekend. I have just been busy with school so I haven't really had the time to update this. I'll try to do it this weekend.
