Re: 24 years later....here we go

I have read and re-read your build, and I have to tell you I love this truck. Your attention to detail is amazing. I really hope to get started on my own here very soon. I have a question- your Camaro tach, how did you install that? it looks great! Anyway, enjoy your ride bro, she's gorgeous.

Re: 24 years later....here we go

I finally got a lift for my shop here at the house. I had been wanting one for a long time. I put the Toyota on it first to try it out. It is really solid and stable and lifts effortlessly. Has 10- 3/4" anchors sunk deep in the slab. I even put high strenght epoxy down every hole. I am looking forward to getting my 71 up there and keeping the underside really clean and tidy.

Re: 24 years later....here we go

Well here we go again... I did the TKO600 5 spd with 3.90 gears and a TruTrac in the diff. Been driving it since I finished. Took the carb off a while back and put an aftermarket throttle body on and the driveability was good and it really woke it all up. So much fun with the 5spd.

However now Im bored and want more power....So Im having a 5.3 built and doing an LS swap. Im gonna sell those wheels and go with some Budniks or something fairly soon. The LS with the 5 spd with all its getting should be off the chain. I'll get some pics going soon if any interest sparks up...
