I just used rope and soapy water, with a helper on the outside to help seat the glass.

Thanks for the help/info. I'll try it over Christmas holiday and let you know how it goes.

I called the glass guys yesterday to put the back glass in and they had each one installed in about 20 minutes.

It took 2 people, a rope and a pair of suction cups. They took the window inside and started at the bottom. Once the bottom lip was started, they started pulling the rope from the outside while the guy on the inside was applying pressure. They made it look easy.

Thanks for the tip. My gaskets arrived today and install is scheduled on the 19th. I'll see about finding some suction cups, perhaps at Harbor Freight?

I'll have BADSAM from the site and his son there helping. I'm simply trying to "dry the sub in" to make it weather tight again. so I can pull it out from under the covered parking.

THanks again,
Thomas
