Any updates? This is an awesome build! Which receiver hitch did you use? and does it interfere with the boyd tank?

Re: 68 K-10 SWB build thread - project Money Pit...pics galore!
I found the tank on the board, just measure the frame rails... It doesn't interfere at all and come just under the license plate on the sport bumper, some other come out behind the plate which would be great as well...
This has been on pause for awhile, i'm leaving for Afghanistan in 2 months so my focus has been elsewhere...

I know this is a little off topic, but thank you very much for your service. I leave for USMC basic on April 1st (I know, April Fools!). Stay safe over there!

That would be nice but this is a "new" Army... they get mad if we don't wear our eye protection and reflective belts... gone are the days of having fun...

My dad is selling his Z71, i'm thinking of picking it up... price is a bit high but he's the second owner and only put 40,000 miles on it in 14 years.

Re: 68 K-10 SWB build thread - project Money Pit...pics galore!
Just learned that Command Sergeant Major's dont like it when you reply to them with "what's the reference for that CSM?"... and they don't have a written policy... this one happened when I was taking a break between flights and had my boonie cap on (gov issued boonie cap). New CSM says "be careful with that cap sir, only authorized on the flight line when your are working in the sun"... ummm, I was on the flight line and it was sunny... morons! I'm glad I outrank them but feel sorry for the lower enlisted sometimes, oh well, I use to be one 20 years ago...
