The interior is looking great!

I will post there if it does not get cleared up this week. I don't want to do anything yet.. don’t know why, but I still want to believe that he is just having issues and not out to get my money.. I guess I am too naive.. Looks like I may get my money back this week...

Thanks on the interior.. If I could just get the glass all installed I would finish it.. Don’t want to put the sunvisors or rearview mirror in until the Windshield is installed, waiting on the back glass for the seats, and need the window glass and vent glass installed before I can finish the doors...

We will get there someday..

Driving in just a few months... Love the sound of those words.

You need to update that avatar Mark. A lot has happened since that was taken.

Gene,

I seemed like it blew hard on high after I calibrated. I will check again this weekend to make sure.

I will not mention the vendor at this time. However, if I do not have the glass or my money by Monday at 5:00pm I will post the whole story, timeline, and vendor at that time. I have found another source for the glass; just need my money back to proceed.
I received a refund this morning. I still do not want to mention who it was. He truly could have had problems, but I placed the order on the 26th of Nov. and still no glass..so it has almost been 3 months... If anyone is thinking of ordering glass from a vendor on the board PM me, and I will give you the details as I know them.

I agree Steve.. We will just have to wait and see if it happens.. Hopefully I will get my new glass order in by middle of next week; that will allow me to finish the interior. Also, hopefully sometime in the near future Kyle can find a day to help me get the front sheet metal lined up and bolted on; that will allow me to finish everything except the bed. Then all we will be waiting on is the bed. It will not be completed until Kyle has finished up all of his previous commitments. Plus I know he has a little one on the way as well, not sure when, but that will obvious move to the front of the line when the time comes. I am at a point that I am not going to worry too much about it, and might even move on to other projects for a while.

I am going to wait until I have the front sheet metal all installed before I update the avatar..

Have a great day..

Re: Crash's 69 K10

I have some progress to report. Kyle finished painting the cowl and took time at of his busy day to help me with fitting the front sheet metal. I arrived early to start the heaters.. It was 34F in the shop when I fired up the heaters at 09:45, it took a couple of hours to get up to 58F.

Inner fenders.

New bolts

It only took about 4 hours to get it all done..

Heard from the Glass vendor today.. Glass shipped yesterday, hopefully. Should be here next week.

How hard was it to line everything up? I am going to mock mine up while it is still in primer. Will I still have to reline after the paint? I was only thinking ahead.

Sure a big change in the truck, nice build. Be careful with the propane heaters you don't want to use them in a completely sealed area as they still give off carbon monoxide and you will get the long sleep. Have to say my favorite grill with my favorite color on my favorite truck. Lucky guy.

It was not hard at all when you have someone that has done it many times showing you how it is done. It went pretty quick, took about 4 hours to get everyting lined up and tighten down. I mocked mine up before paint as well.. Once the paint is ont there you are going to change much..
