I think grinding the HD rotors would be easier,... if that's what you have.

Converting an HD rotor equipped truck to the light duty 1" rotors requires:
1) spindle swap
2) caliper swap
3) rotor swap
4) 1 of the bearings is different.

10 minutes of grinding beats that easily!
