Is this high? CL Find Not Mine

Just thought I would share this, it is not mine but it is near me and I was interested until I saw the pictures.

Re: Is this high? CL Find Not Mine

That's way high. I see trucks in 10x better shape than that at the junk yard

Also, that's about what I paid for my running and registered '69 last year.

Re: Is this high? CL Find Not Mine

That's beyond high for so cal. For his area it may not be that far off....if he got it to at least run and drive. It is in an area where vehicles rust, and there is not a lot to choose from.

Re: Is this high? CL Find Not Mine

I agree it is too high. The funny thing is that's what people ask for trucks like that around here all the time.

Re: Is this high? CL Find Not Mine

At first glance yes. Consider if the frame is not rotted or tweaked and all of the running gear, front and rear axles, transfer case, drive shafts are all in tact. That alone is worth some money for some one wanting to do a 4 x 4 conversion. If it is a short bed, that would help the sale even more.

The seller could help if he cleaned it up and made it presentable for a sale. I would bet a $1,000.00 would take it. Leddzepp is correct about the area it is in.
