Re: How do you use your truck?

Before I retired a few years ago, it was my DD...... to work, the post office, the grocery store or hardware store..... as well as any heavy hauling like firewood, lumber, gravel etc.

Now it mostly sits until it's needed for heavy hauling. Lately, it's brought home three loads of firewood.

I don't abuse it, but it's never been babied either. It's my workhorse, just like it was built for.

This was earlier today. My sister needed some trees cut down and hauled off.

Re: How do you use your truck?

Mine is my work truck, and my toy, all in one! I just bought a second truck so the first one can get some major bodywork, but I love them to death and drive them as often as I can

Re: How do you use your truck?

The pickup gets driven about every other day hauling lumber and anything that can't fit on the back of my '84 welding truck. I do all the heavy pulling with the '84 since it has a 454/4 speed. I drive the suburban a couple times a month to keep everything working, when it's all fixed I'm gonna take it to some mud bogs.
