Re: 1st post on this site! Intro and a question!
Well, I am starting to understand why this grille was $100 cheaper than the next lowest one on ebay. When in place, the outward appearance is gorgeous. But, behind the scenes (grille), half of the holes don't line up. I will have to redrill most of the support holes on the truck sheet metal passenger side about 1/2" from original locations. If I had to do over again, I would still choose this route since the outward appearance is 100%. I have bought a bunch of patch panels and sheet metal parts over the years and I know most need "tweeking", but most of the "bolt in" China stuff fits better than this. So, I am assuming the seller had 4 "seconds" to sell and I got one of them. If I were building a 100% show quality truck, this would not work, but we are building a "driver" quality, and unless someone looks down behind the grille, this one is perfect for us!
