opinions on converting this frame

Hey guys need your opinion. I have a 72 k10 short bed that i want to restore and i have a powder coated 2wd frame sitting in the garage. Would it be worth it to convert the frame to a 4wd to use it under my k10. Id take all the 4x4 brackets off the old frame and add them to the 2wd frame. Or should i sell the 2wd frame and invest the money into the 4wd frame?

I would say it would be easier and less headache to sell the 2wd frame and restore the 4x4 frame. Unless the 4x4 frame has heavy rust

I've never done the conversion though so maybe someone else will chime in

I agree, keep the 4x4 frame. The 2wd frame is different in front and out back.

It would be one monster of a job to do so unless your 4x4 frame is junk keep it and sell the 2wd one.
