Re: Top hatch rubber placement

It Looks wrong to me after looking at my hatch. Mine sets flat with the lip or flat area that is facing the ground in your picture not the structural part of the hatch. How did you go about restoring it and was the glass easy to get out?

Glass was easy to remove, my son is an expert glazier lol. Same shop restored it, looks way better than new. As for the rubber, you could be right, it may be upside down.Guess I will find out. I am waiting to get the last stuff back from the powder coaters which include the hinges and gasket keepers.

Re: Top hatch rubber placement

The rubber on mine is pretty wore but it look to be setting different. I have two hatches and the both look like they sit on the lip not the frame.
