crew cab cummins on craigslist
Came across this one today, dang too bad its a 4 hour drive away. Would like to go check it out. Seems like a decent price for what is done to it

front bumper is tweeted and bit on the pass side, a grill and hopefully the dash isn't cracked under the carpet, a side from that it looks solid and the interior is really clean. I'd go for the drive if I was you.

Nice find, too bad about the color. If it were a different color I would be headed to take a look.

He added some under hood and close up damage shots. It's a non-intercooled Cummins. I'm just learning about this Cummins swap stuff, but does that mean its a first gen VE pump?

Yes, it's a VE pump.
Looks pretty good in the pictures, but I wonder why the shifter appears to be a few inches rearward of normal NV4500 swap |

I talked to the guy the day I posted this thread, he said someone was coming to buy it later that day. I told him to call me back if it didnt sell and he never did so I assumed it sold. He said he used Autoworld mounts for the motor, chevy alt, and chevy a/c comp. Thats probably close to 2 grand in parts right there. He said the trans has some issues in 3rd gear, maybe syncros or something. If the motor runs good and as good of shape the truck looks to be in, seems like a very good buy.
