need some advice

i have a 99 k1500 and the last three years in row in the spring it starts to miss really bad so i have changed the cap and rotor and it fixed it till this spring and it is doing it again i should not have to change them once a year
help me please want to go camping and cant tow my trailer

Go to the dealer buy a gm cap and rotor and see if there is an oring under the cap to keep water out. Most after market caps are cheap junk

Sounds like you have a Dist with bad bushings and it's riding up to far and screwing up the cap and rotor. Re-bush it, or get a new distributor.
