Re: Parting out another 72 LWB and other parts

Is the passenger inner fender clean (any rot at the front reinforcing brace)? If its good, I'll take it, either shipped to 78737, or I'll come up and pick it up, depending on shipping, let me know. (but I know they are all rotted -- but I just had to ask). Thanks, Ken

Do you have any bench seats for a 67 to 72 chevy/GMC?

Re: Parting out another 72 LWB and other parts

Ok I have the two guide loops, the one "U" connecter (intermediate to rear cables)

I don't know what you mean by equalizer with hex nut for adjusting the tension on the cable. Because the adjustment is done on the primary cable from the pedal to the intermediate cable.

I do have the rod and "U" saddle that is on the passenger side frame to the intermediate cable.

Mow the pin & C-clip to connect the parking lever arm to the brake shoe inside the drum I don't know of the pin being separate from the parking lever arm. all I have is a pre '70 rearend to look at and the pin is part of the arm, and it's been a while since I've been in a '71-'72 rearend but I don't recall the pin being it's own piece.

Let me know
Brian

Any chance you have them? I would be able to send you some pics of the exact parts needed. Thanks!!

Mike I have two roof sections that can donate what you need, but it would be best to set up a time next weekend to come by and look at them.

Re: Parting out another 72 LWB and other parts

Thanks for digging up the parts!! The equalizer is the other u-shaped saddle the slides onto the end of the front cable (the cable that connects to the pedal) and a nut holds it on the cable. As you tighten the nut, it draws the saddle up the cable to put more tension on the intermediate cable. I have the saddle and rod for the pass side. Also, I think you're right about the pin for the lever arm, I took the pass side drum off today and looks like it's part of the arm. I have a drivers side arm on its way to me, so I should be good, finding the clip will be easy. I'll take the loops and the u connector from you- how much do you want for them and the shipping to Jonestown, TX 78645?

Re: Parting out another 72 LWB and other parts

OK I do have the the "equalizer" "U" shaped saddle as well, with the two jamb nuts, I would call it the primary "U" saddle myself. (but no big deal there)

parts I have:
equalizer" "U" shaped saddle with jamb nuts
"U" shaped clip interm cable to wheel cable
2X cable guide loops

So how does $26.00 shipped to you sound.

If camaney doesn't take me up on the set posted above, you will be next in line.

If he does I do have another set that isn't as good, the motor mount holes have been enlarged by a torch a little and I see one small crack in a bend on one of them. I'll do them for $25.00 plus mailing cost.

Sorry I Don't have anything decent.

My preference on steering wheels is off of the '88 up pickups, though they are getting had to come by.

Re: Parting out another 72 LWB and other parts

TTT,

One more time, look and see if there is anything your interested in. I have a little more time left on my seller membership here, and then I'm downgrading to just being a member for a while.

I'm about to get in the middle of building a new shop, and time will not be there for parts selling.
