Carpet installation?

How do you guys install your carpet over the wheel well housings? Do you use Glue, double back tape or velcro?

Re: Carpet installation?

Good questions..., I chose to use the double sided tape and it's held up well.

Re: Carpet installation?

The blue K5 is looking really good! FWIW - the carpet on the wheel wells causes a minor hassle with repro panels in my experience of one. It displaces the panels just enough to cause some minor tweaking in the panel backing, which unlike the OEM panels aren't cardboard but something a lot stiffer like melamine. The panels need to be muscled into place and exert upward force on the retaining chrome strips. I think I hear more squeaks from behind now.

Re: Carpet installation?

Thanks DeadheadNM. I still need to order my rear side panels from Truckseats. I plan on doing my front carpet this weekend, install my seats and console. But first I think I want to do my door seals not sure yet. Hoping to have my interior done this weekend except for the rear side panels.
