3 point seat belts 1964 c-10 truck

Seat belts are a must in my family, and so I'm looking for others that have put regular seat belts in their trucks. I've heard s-10 belts work well, but I would like to hear about people that are using them or other 3 pt belt systems. I don't believe in 64 there were any pre drilled spots for the belts yet. Any ideas pictures would be helpful.

Re: 3 point seat belts 1964 c-10 truck

I too am curious about this as well. I recently bought some seats that have the 3 point belts all contained in the seat, but would like to open my options for if I decide to use a different seat later.

A good thread on installing 3 point belts in a 64-66 cab. I believe 66 was the 1st year with the 3 point belt provision.

Re: 3 point seat belts 1964 c-10 truck

Got these from Juliano's Interior Products. They come with a nice set of anchor plates with the nut welded on. For the shoulder harness, I drilled the hole using and old socket for a drill stop and then taped the anchor to a stick and fished it up there till I saw the nut, then threaded in the bolt. I did remove my tank to facilitate installation on the drivers side.

Thanks. It looks better since the photos. The white inserts in the door panels went away. The white worked with the original beige but not so with the red IMO.
