02 4l80e converter ?

so i flat towed my 3500 4x4 for about 25 miles with the driveshafts in because i forgot my tools and was in a bind. the transfer case fell into 4x4low and blew the trans. i got a used trans but it doesnt have the converter. was wondering if mine would still be good? someone told me that the trans would not be pumping since the truck was not running so im hoping the fluid in it is still clean, but if it is i still amy not sure if it would be bad. any thoughts? i would just buy one but i am really broke right now.

I wouldn't use old torque converter either especially when you can have a new one for around $200 if you do use it. Have it flushed by a good shop and hope for the best.

If the engine was not running there is no fluid movement inside the transmission, Did you run the engine after you towed it with the old transmission in it?
